Biography

      Associate athletic trainer Julie Francis has been with the Seahawk program since August of 2004.

      Francis, a native of Findlay, Ohio, provides coverage for volleyball, men's golf and women's golf. She is also a preceptor for the Athletic Training Education Program and an instructor in the School of Health and Applied Human Sciences.

      Francis earned her B.S. in Sports Medicine from Marietta College in 2002 and her M.S.Ed. in Athletic Training from Old Dominion in 2004.

      She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, North Carolina Athletic Trainers Association, Mid-Atlantic Athletic Trainers Association, National Academy of Sports Medicine and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She is also a certified instructor for the American Red Cross.

      Francis enjoys camping, hiking, cycling and photography.
