Women's Basketball Falls In Regular Season Finale

ELON, N.C. – Kylah Silver led UNCW with 18 points in the regular season finale, a 66-54 loss at Elon, on Saturday at the Schar Center.

The Seahawks enter the Coastal Athletic Association tournament with an overall record of 6-23 and 2-16 in conference play. UNCW will open the tournament on Mar. 11 at 2 p.m. against Northeastern.

UNCW narrowed its deficit to 55-51 with 5:29 left on a three-pointer by Torin Rogers. Elon, however, limited the Seahawks to three points down the stretch to secure the home win.

Quinzi Fulmore was a force for the Phoenix, finishing with 28 points on 13-of-15 shooting from the field and 2-for-2 from the foul line. She added 10 rebounds to complete the double-double.

Angelina Pelayo added 10 points for the Seahawks.
