UNCW Announces '25-26 Men's Basketball Roster

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW men's basketball head coach Takayo Siddle and staff have completed the Seahawks' roster for the upcoming 2025-26 campaign with the additions of international forward/centers Matija Prodanovic and Adam Tokpah.

This offseason, Siddle and the UNCW coaching staff tirelessly worked to restock the roster following the Seahawks' league-record seventh Coastal Athletic Association Tournament championship last March.

Senior guards Nolan Hodge, Noah Ross and Greedy Williams spearhead a group of five returners that include Makoi Mabor Makoi and Makel Smith. Smith will be placed on scholarship this season after joining the program as a walk-on one year ago.

All-CAA Third Teamer CJ Luster II (Stony Brook) is one of nine newcomers to the program. Other transfers include Madison Durr (Monmouth), Jahnathan Lamothe (North Carolina A&T), Christian May (Towson), Gavin Walsh (Binghamton) and Patrick Wessler (Virginia Tech), along with incoming freshmen Prodanovic and Tokpah. Guard Grady Whitt (Colorado) returns to his home state as a walk-on at UNCW.

A native of Sheffield, England, Tokpah spent last season at Terror Prep in Toronto, Canada, where he scored over 800 points and hauled in more than 500 rebounds.

A strong rim runner, Tokpah spent last year at The Sheffield College in the European Youth Basketball League. The 6-11 athletic big man earned All-Conference Second-Team honors in 2024 after averaging 14.3 points and 9.5 rebounds while shooting 59 percent from the floor.

Tokpah made the final Great Britain roster for the 2024 FIBA U20 EuroBasket. The Englishman collected 5.5 ppg, 4.8 rpg and shot 60 percent from the field across 13 minutes per contest, highlighted by a 17-point, seven-rebound effort in a Division B European Championship win vs. Azerbaijan.

Prodanovic hails from Uzice, Serbia, where he most recently played for KK Mladost VEBA in Serbia's First Regional Basketball League. The lengthy post player averaged 4.1 points and 2.5 rebounds while playing 11.2 mpg across 19 contests in 2023-24.
