MBB Preview: at Drexel

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW looks to extend its season-long win streak to eight games when it travels to Philadelphia for a 2 p.m. men's basketball contest at Drexel at the Daskalakis Athletic Center on Saturday.

SERIES INFO
The longtime CAA rivals split the season series last year with both teams defending home court. UNCW, who leads the series 26-16, and Drexel will meet for the first and only time in the 2024-25 regular season.

LAST TIME OUT
UNCW used a 17-3 run midway through the second half to move past Delaware, 77-67, in Coastal Athletic Association action on Thursday night at the Bob Carpenter Center.
 
The Seahawks have now won at least seven straight games in a season for the ninth time since 1997 and the third time under Takayo Siddle, who also was on two teams with seven-or-more game win streaks as an assistant at UNCW.

SCOUTING THE DRAGONS
The Dragons earned a big win over William & Mary on Saturday, 86-66.

Drexel has four players averaging double figures, all between 10 and 15 points, and are fourth in the CAA in team defense, allowing only 66.3 ppg.

ON THE DOCKET
The Seahawks continue their road swing on Saturday at Drexel at 2 p.m. in a nationally-televised contest on CBS Sports Network.
