Henderson Continues Her Scoring Ways

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Taylor Henderson poured in a team-leading 15 points on Thursday in UNCW's 77-50 loss to nationally-ranked North Carolina at Carmichael Arena.

The 15th-ranked Tar Heels improved to 2-0 with the home win while the Seahawks fell to 0-2 with their second road loss.

Henderson, who also led the Seahawks in scoring in the season opener at Virginia Tech, scored 11 of her 15 points in the second half. Freshman Tia Dobson added eight points off the bench for the Seahawks.

UNC's Donarski led all scorers with 21 points on 8-for-14 shooting from the field. She knocked down a game-high five three-pointers.

UNCW hosts Clinton College on Nov. 10 at 4 p.m. in its home opener. Sunday will be Fan Appreciation Day with free food being served in the Golden Hawk Room beginning at 3:30 p.m.
