WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW forward Khamari McGriff authored a double-double of 15 points and 13 rebounds in the Seahawks' 77-71 men's basketball exhibition win vs. Fayetteville State on Wednesday night at Trask Coliseum.

The Tallahassee, Fla., native was joined in double figures by junior guard Elijah Jamison's 14 points and Nolan Hodge's 11 points.

Broncos guard Ezekiel Cannedy's 20 points paced four FSU players in double-digits, along with Caleb Simmons (16), Myles Pierre (15) and Tairell Fletcher (11).

UNCW, who trailed 34-31 at halftime, used an 18-4 spurt over a five-and-a-half-minute run in the second half to flip the advantage in its favor, 54-44, at the 10:29 mark.

Cannedy scored 16 points down the stretch to pull FSU within four, 73-69, with 42 seconds left on the clock. Guard Donovan Newby and Hodge, however, both sank a pair of free throws to ice the game before 4,233 fans at Trask Coliseum.
