Swimming & Diving Closes Out Fall Schedule

COLUMBIA, S.C. – UNCW closed out its fall season with a pair of third-place finishes at the Gamecock Invitational on Friday at the Carolina Natatorium.

Brooke Knisely and Will Goldey posted UNCW's top finishes on Friday. Knisely was third in the 1650 Free with a time of 16:49.76 and Goldey took third in the 200 Back when he clocked in at 1:46.63, a season best.

UNCW also fashioned a pair of fourth-place showings in the 400 Free Relay. The women's relay of Cameron Snowden, Emily Waite, Maura Schoppa, and Sarah Rogillio combined for a time of 3:23.37. On the men's side, Jacob Duracinsky, Noah Sipowski, Mac Russell, and Kenneth Lowe teamed for a mark of 2:57.61

At the Mason Invitational, Ethan Badrian earned his second event win of the meet with a score of 342.20 points in taking the 3-meter championship. In the women's 1-meter, Hunter Smith led the Seahawks with a fourth-place finish on the strength of 237.50 points.
