Women's Soccer Unveils Spring Schedule

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW women's soccer head coach Chris Neal has announced a four-game spring schedule for the reigning Colonial Athletic Association regular-season champions.
 
"I'm excited to grow as a team this spring semester, said Neal, UNCW's fourth-year bench boss. "We are coming off of a very successful 2021 Fall season and we are going to continue to challenge and push this squad to be their best."
 
"We only have five months until the start of the 2022 season and all of these spring matches are important developmental opportunities for us."
 
The spring slate includes two games against in-state opponents Campbell on Friday, Mar. 25th, and UNC-Pembroke on Friday, Apr. 22.
 
The Seahawks battle Atlantic Coast Conference foe Virginia Tech on Saturday, Feb. 19, at Bryan Park in Greensboro, N.C.
 
UNCW travels down the coast on Thursday, Apr. 7th, with a teal clash at Coastal Carolina in Conway, S.C.
 
Neal, the 2021 CAA Coach of the Year, guided the Seahawks to an 11-4-1 overall record last fall, including a 7-2 record in league play to finish with the best conference record for the second straight year.

Feb. 19 | vs. Virginia Tech (Bryan Park, Greensboro, N.C.)
Mar. 25 | vs. Campbell (UNCW Soccer Stadium, Wilmington, N.C.) | 6 p.m.
Apr. 7 | at Coastal Carolina (CCU Soccer Stadium, Conway, S.C.) | 7 p.m.
Apr. 22 | vs. UNC-Pembroke (UNCW Soccer Stadium, Wilmington, N.C.) | 5:30 p.m. -- NEW TIME
