Men's Soccer To Host Three NCAA Tournament Teams

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Home games with NCAA tournament participants Charlotte, North Carolina and defending Colonial Athletic Association champion James Madison highlight UNCW's 2021 schedule released on Thursday.

The Seahawks will face four NCAA tournament teams in total and open the season on Aug. 14 with a home exhibition game against Duke. UNCW will play the second of two exhibitions the following week on Aug. 21 at Old Dominion.

The slate features eight home matches beginning with Lafayette on Aug. 26. CAA play opens at Drexel on Sept. 11.

Charlotte visits the UNCW Soccer Stadium on Sept. 14 while the Tar Heels, who reached the NCAA semifinals in the spring, come to town on Sept. 29. JMU, meanwhile, visits on Oct. 16.

Rounding out the NCAA tournament teams on the schedule is ASun Conference champion Jacksonville, who will host the Seahawks on Sept. 4.

The CAA semifinals and finals will be hosted by JMU on Nov. 11 and 14.

UNCW, which enters its 21st season under the direction of Head Coach Aidan Heaney, finished the 2021 spring season with a 5-3-2 mark and reached the semifinals of the CAA tournament.

Season tickets are on-sale now. A combo season ticket that includes both Men's and Women's Soccer season tickets is $30/Adults and $20/Youth (15 & under).

Season tickets prices for Men's Soccer only or Women's Soccer only are $22/Adults and $11/Youth (15 & under). All tickets are subject to include a one-time processing fee of $8 and all seating is general admission.
 
Single game tickets go on-sale Monday, August 2nd at 10 a.m. Ticket are $8 for Adults and $3 for Youth (ages 3-15). Group prices are available for groups 20+ people.
