DURHAM, North Carolina – Sophomore goalkeeper
Gabriel Perrotta made five saves as UNCW ran its unbeaten streak to three games with a scoreless draw against Duke in non-conference men's soccer action at Koskinen Stadium on Friday evening.
The Seahawks, ranked No. 18 in this week's Top Drawer Soccer Division I Top 25 poll, saw their record move to 2-0-1 on the season while Duke stands at 2-7-2.

Eliot Hamill combined to tally five saves for the Blue Devils, who are winless in their last seven contests.
Duke outshot the Seahawks by a 16-13 margin, but UNCW held a 5-4 edge on corner kicks.
Game Notes:
- UNCW is unbeaten in its last five encounters with Duke, posting a 4-0-1 record during that span … It was the first tie between the teams since Nov. 8, 1978, a 1-1 draw in Durham.
- UNCW authored its first scoreless draw since Oct. 15, 2019, against Coastal Carolina.
- The Seahawks matched their season high with 13 shot attempts, equaling the 13 shots against UNCG in the season opener on Feb. 6.
- Perrotta moved into a tie with Mike Lyons (1980-82) for eighth place on Seahawks' career shutouts list with his 10th career clean sheet.
- Perrotta, sophomore Jaden Strumeier and redshirt junior Drew Rabil played all 110 minutes while senior Michael Hornsby registered 102 minutes.
