NEWARK, Delaware – Graduate student forward Nicole Enabosi scored 21 points, including 14 in the second half, and grabbed 15 rebounds as Delaware rallied to edge UNCW, 61-57, in Colonial Athletic Association women's basketball action at the Bob Carpenter Center on Saturday afternoon.
 
The win elevated the Blue Hens' record to 12-17 overall and 8-10 in the CAA. UNCW, meanwhile, closes out the regular season at 9-20 overall with a 6-12 mark in the circuit.
 
One of three Delaware players to reach double figures, Enabosi made 8-of-14 shots from the floor and was 5-for-9 from the free throw line while playing all 40 minutes.
 
Senior forward Samone DeFreese added 14 points on 7-of-14 shooting from the field while sophomore guard Jasmine Dickey chipped in 10 points with four rebounds.
 
Senior guard 
Lacey Suggs equaled her season high by netting a game-high 24 points. The White Lake, N.C., product made 7 of 12 field goal attempts and went 9-for-10 at the free throw line.
 
Redshirt senior guard 
GiGi Smith added her first double-double of the season in the loss, scoring 18 points with a season-high 10 rebounds. Senior guard 
Ahyiona Vason tallied nine points with seven rebounds in 25 minutes.
 
Key Moment: Trailing by a 51-45 margin with 6:00 remaining in the fourth quarter, Delaware scored 11 of the next 13 points, including a combined nine points from DeFreese and Enabosi, to secure a 56-52 lead the Blue Hens did not relinquish. UNCW narrowed the margin to 58-57 on a Smith triple with 25.7 seconds remain, but Delaware sank three of four free throws in the closing seconds to seal the victory.
 
Game Notes:
	- Delaware, which leads the all-time series by a 29-10 margin, snapped a two-game losing streak in the series and has won 8 of the last 10 pairings against the Seahawks.
 
	- UNCW outrebounded Delaware by a 44-33 margin, marking the fourth time in the last five games the Seahawks have held the advantage on the glass.
 
	- The Seahawks' 44 rebounds against Delaware are the second-most in a game this season … Delaware allowed 40 or more rebounds for the ninth time in 29 games this year.  
 
	- Suggs reached the 20-point mark for the 10th time in her career and scored in double figures for the fifth time in the last six games … She has reached double figures in 21-of-29 games this season.
 
	- In addition, Suggs moved past Charlene Page (1985-89) and Sharon McMillan (1980-83) on the Seahawks' all-time scoring list and finishes the regular season ranked 15th in program history with 1,045 career points.
 
	- Smith posted her fourth career double-double with her 18 points and 10 rebounds against Delaware on Saturday … The Norfolk, Va., product recorded the fourth double-digit rebound effort of her college career.
 
	- Smith also reached double figures in scoring for the fourth consecutive game and has 21 double-digit scoring efforts this season.
 
	- Delaware committed just seven turnovers against the Seahawks, marking the fewest by a UNCW opponent since Jan. 13, 2017, when Drexel had five turnovers against the Seahawks.
 
	- The Blue Hens shot just 1-for-16 from three-point range against the Seahawks … Over the last five games, UNCW opponents are shooting just 12-for-63 (.190) from beyond the arc.
