Seahawks to honor seniors prior to match

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW enters the final weekend of the Colonial Athletic Association season with an opportunity to qualify for the postseason but will need help from other programs.

Sitting at 4-11 with the College of Charleston visiting on Sunday, the Seahawks need Northeastern and Hofstra to knock off Delaware. The Blue Hens own a 5-9 record, but UNCW owns the tie-breaker between the two.

On Sunday, UNCW will honors its two seniors, Madison Peters and Kendall Bender, prior to the 1 p.m. first serve. Both will conclude their careers ranked among Seahawk greats in many statistical categories.

CofC swept the Seahawks earlier this season in Charleston.
