WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Sophomore Lauren Lichtenwalner and senior Taylor Langtry combined to pitch a five-hit shutout as Bucknell defeated UNCW, 3-0, in the final game of the Seahawk Softball Classic at Boseman Field on Sunday afternoon.
The win lifted the Bison's record to 4-6 while UNCW dropped to 4-5 after suffering its third loss in the last four games.
Lichtenwalner, who upped her record to 2-2 on the season, scattered three hits over 4.2 innings with a strikeout and two walks. Langtry gave up only two hits in the final 2.1 innings with two strikeouts to nail down her first career save.

Rylee Pate took the loss for UNCW after giving up three runs on five hits over four innings. Junior
