WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Junior forward Nicole Enabosi and sophomore forward Samone DeFreese each registered a double-double to lead Delaware past UNCW for an 82-49 victory in Colonial Athletic Association women's basketball action at Trask Coliseum on Friday evening.

The Blue Hens, who won for the eighth time in nine games, improved to 12-5 overall and 5-1 in the CAA. UNCW, meanwhile, dropped to 7-11 on the season with a 0-7 mark in league play.

Enabosi, the CAA's scoring and rebounding leader, tallied her 13th double-double of the season after scoring 25 points with 14 rebounds. She made 10-of-14 shots from the floor and converted all five of her free throws.

DeFreese added 11 points with 10 rebounds and four assists for her third double-double of the season.

UNCW was led by senior guard
Madison Raque, who scored 13 points, including a perfect 6-for-6 performance from the free throw line, with four rebounds. Sophomore guard
Lacey Suggs added 12 points with a team-high six rebounds.

Key Moment: Enabosi scored 17 of her game-high 25 points in the first half as Delaware surged to a 37-21 lead at the intermission. She made 7-of-8 shots in the opening 20 minutes while grabbing nine rebounds as the Blue Hens never trailed in the contest. Â
