Beehler Shines As UNCW Advances To Championship Round

WILMINGTON, North Carolina - Logan Beehler allowed a run on just two hits over eight innings as UNCW advanced to the championship round of the Colonial Athletic Association tournament with a 10-1 win over top-seeded Northeastern on Saturday at brooks Field. The Seahawks will play Delaware at 4:55 p.m.

Every starter had a hit for the Seahawks to back Beehler (3-7), who went a career-long eight innings. The righthander walked three and struck out four in picking up the win. Five Seahawks collected at least two hits, including Kennard McDowell who belted a two-run homer in a four-run second inning.
