WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Redshirt senior forward
Jenny DeGraaf scored a career-high 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead UNCW past Georgia State, 74-62, in the non-conference women's basketball finale for both teams inside Trask Coliseum on Thursday afternoon.

The Seahawks, who have won four of their last five games, upped their record to 7-4 while Georgia State dropped to 4-7 after losing for the second time in its last three outings.

DeGraaf, who authored the fifth double-double of her career, knocked down 6-of-12 shots from the floor, including a 2-for-4 effort from three-point range, while converting 7-of-8 free throws.

Lacey Suggs came off the bench to chip in 17 points with seven rebounds while senior guard
Madison Raque contributed 11 points with five assists.

Junior guard Shay Fluker led Georgia State in the loss by scoring a game-high 22 points, including a perfect 9-for-9 effort from the foul line, with nine rebounds. Junior guard Kierra Henry added 14 points while redshirt sophomore guard Madison Newby contributed 11 markers.
