WILMINGTON, North Carolina – The UNCW women's tennis team went a combined 3-7 in matches staged on the final day of the National Women's Tennis Invitational Sunday at the UNCW tennis courts.
  The Seahawks split four morning doubles matches to start the day before dropping five of six singles matches against state rival Campbell. Four of the matches with the Camels were decided by super breaker.
 
Senior Madara Straume won at the top of the lineup in singles for the Seahawks, rallying past CU's Alexandra Andrivot, 6-7 (4), 6-1, 10-4.
 
The Seahawks next compete in the N.C. Central Invitational and ITA Regionals, beginning on Thursday, Oct. 19.
