Carolyn Huddy tallied two saves, but UNCW was unable to keep its unbeaten streak alive as NC State posted a 2-0 non-conference victory over the Seahawks at UNCW Soccer Stadium on Sunday afternoon.Â

Stengel gave NC State an early 1-0 lead in the 18th minute when she converted a crossing pass from
Kristina Schuster for her team-high fifth goal of the season.

King upped the advantage to 2-0 midway through the second half when she connected on a long shot from 25 yards to score her third goal of the year.

Sydney Wootten, the Wolfpack limited UNCW to a season-low 11 shots en route to the shutout win.
