Mims and Stupienski had three hits apiece and drove in four and three runs, respectively. Stupienski belted his third homer of the season and was joined by Feight, who slammed his sixth round tripper of the season, this one a grand slam, accounting for four of his career-high five RBI's.

Robbie Thorburn added two hits and scored three runs while raising his stolen base total to nine with a pair of steals.

Cory Gantz (1-0) picked up the win while making his first start of the season. The junior went a career-long five innings and allowed three runs, two earned, on six hits and pair of walks. He finished with three strikeouts.
