Madison Raque combined to score 41 points as UNCW pulled away in the second half to earn a 59-44 Colonial Athletic Association victory over William & Mary at Trask Coliseum on Sunday afternoon.

The win allowed the Seahawks to improve to 7-15 overall and 3-8 in the CAA while the Tribe fell to 13-9 on the season, including a 4-7 mark in league play.

Cole, who scored in double figures for the 10th consecutive game, scored a game-high 17 points by making 6 of 10 field goal attempts and four of five free throws. She also contributed five assists and two rebounds.

Raque posted her second straight double-digit scoring effort after scoring a career-high 14 points, including 12 in the second half. She shot 6-for-15 from the field, including a 2-for-6 effort from three-point range, while playing 36 minutes.

Steele, who tallied her fifth double-digit scoring effort in a row, notched 10 points and added a career-high 10 rebounds while setting a career high by playing 39 minutes.

The Tribe was led by junior forward
Alexandra Masaquel, who scored 16 points by making seven of nine shots from the floor and both of her free throw attempts. She also contributed a team-high eight rebounds.

Marlena Tremba added 11 points with eight rebounds and four assists for William & Mary, which lost for the seventh time in the last nine games.

How It Happened: After taking a 25-23 lead into the intermission, UNCW broke away in the third quarter by outscoring William & Mary, 19-8. Raque scored 8 of her 14 points during the frame by shooting 3-for-5 from the field, including making two of three tries from long range.
