WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Junior guard
Amber Reeves may have led UNCW with 19 points against Mount Olive on Saturday afternoon, but it was her final two points of the game which made the difference as she sank two free throws with no time remaining to lift the Seahawks to an 81-80 overtime win in an exhibition game at Trask Coliseum.

One of five UNCW players to score in double figures, Reeves was fouled as time expired in the overtime period with the Seahawks trailing by an 80-79 margin. She converted both free throws as the Seahawks beat the Trojans in exhibition play for the second straight year.

In leading the Seahawks to the victory, Reeves made 6 of 12 shots from the floor and 7 of 10 free throw attempts. She also grabbed three rebounds and added an assist while playing 40 minutes.

Sophomore guard
Madison Raque came off the bench to contribute 13 points, including a 3-for-7 effort from three-point range, while senior guard
Shatia Cole contributed 12 points with five rebounds and two steals.

Naqaiyyah Teague each added 10 points for UNCW.

The Trojans were led by sophomore guard
Ni'ya Styles, who matched Reeves with a 19-point performance after making 8 of 20 field goal attempts, including a 3-for-12 effort from three-point range. Junior center
Arieal Johnson contributed 13 points with eight rebounds and seven blocked shots. Â

How It Happened: After Styles forced overtime with a buzzer-beating three-point field goal, the Seahawks scored five of the first seven points in the extra period to take a 77-74 lead. Mount Olive answered with a 5-0 spurt to retake the advantage at 79-77 with 52 seconds left before a pair of free throws by freshman guard
Emily Thomas tied the game at 79-79. Senior guard
Shy'Lia Buie made one of two free throws with 36 seconds remaining to give Mount Olive back the lead before Reeves was fouled as time expired. Â
