CHARLOTTE, North Carolina – Sophomore midfielder
Kalvin Kromer gave UNCW a 1-0 lead in the first half, but host Charlotte answered by scoring three times in the second half to earn a 3-1 victory over the Seahawks at Transamerica Field on Tuesday evening.
The loss dropped the Seahawks' record to 8-7-3 while Charlotte improved to 9-5-2 on the season.

Kyle Parker tied the game when he headed in a pass from
Callum Montgomery for his 11th goal of the season.

Brandt Bronico gave the 49ers a 2-1 advantage when he converted a penalty kick for his seventh goal of the season. Freshman forward
Maclean Holbrook extended the margin to 3-1 in the 75th minute with his second goal of the season.
