Hamilton Carlin scored the game's lone goal with 8:03 remaining in regulation as College of Charleston edged UNCW by a 1-0 margin in a Colonial Athletic Association game at UNCW Soccer Stadium on Wednesday evening.
The Cougars, who earned their second win in the last three games, improved to 7-6-2 overall while moving into a tie for third place in the CAA with a 4-2-1 mark. Meanwhile, the Seahawks' record dropped to 8-5-3 overall as UNCW moved into fifth place with a 3-3-2 league record.
