Josue Henriquez scored on a breakaway early in the second half as No. 14 Old Dominion held off UNCW to earn a 1-0 victory in a non-conference game at UNCW Soccer Stadium on Wednesday night.
The win elevated the Monarchs' record to 8-2-1 while UNCW stands at 8-4-2 on the season.
