Hava Davis

Hava Davis enters his second season with the Seahawks after joining the program prior to the 2019-20 season.

In his first season with the program, Davis worked with the setters and was instrumental in organizing UNCW's offense. Brynn Montgomery flourished under his direction, posting career-highs in kills and digs while running the Seahawks 6-2 offense. Montgomery also posted three triple-doubles during the 2019 season, becoming the first Seahawk to do since 2003.

Davis came to the Seahawks after serving as coach with the NC Coastal Volleyball Club in Wilmington. Prior to that was the Associate Head Coach for Colonial Athletic Association rival Hofstra from 2014 to 2018.

While with the Pride, he helped the program to three 20-win seasons and a CAA title and NCAA appearance in 2014. Hannah Klemm was the CAA Setter of the Year in both 2014 and 2015 while Kelsie Willis was the league’s Player of the Year and an AVCA All-America selection. Fifteen Pride players earned All-CAA honors.

Davis’ club experience also includes tenures with Club Ace Long Island and Laguna Beach Volleyball Club.

Davis is a 2012 graduate of Concordia University in Irvine, Calif. Hava and his wife Franca Davis reside in Wilmington.
