MBB Preview: Montreat

UNCW hosts final home non-conference game of the season on Sunday

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW returns to Trask Coliseum on Sunday as it takes the court for a 2 p.m. tip-off against Montreat College in the final home non-conference game of the season.

The Seahawks are coming off an impressive win at nationally-ranked Kentucky as the program earned its first road win ever over a ranked opponent. Led by Trazarien White's career-high 27 points, the Seahawks clipped the Wildcats in historic Rupp Arena, 80-73, last weekend.

Montreat, which plays on Saturday against Appalachian Athletic Conference rival Pikeville, stands at 4-5 on the season following a road loss at Berry College.

Sunday's game will be streamed on FloHoops.tv and can be heard locally in Wilmington on 95.9 The Breeze and on the internet at 959thebreeze.com.

The Seahawks return to the road as they open another five-game road stretch on Dec. 16 at Georgia Southern.
