Seahawks Set For TV Eight Times In 2016-17

2016-17 CAA TV Schedule

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The UNCW men's basketball team will appear on television eight times during the 2016-17 regular season, Colonial Athletic Association officials announced Tuesday at the league's annual Media Day.
 
CAA fans will also be provided with internet broadcasts of hundreds of additional games through CAA.TV, the conference's digital network. CAA.TV will provide coverage of any non-televised conference games.
 
Comcast SportsNet will televise the semifinals and finals of the CAA Men's Basketball Championship and one of the ESPN networks is scheduled to carry the CAA Championship game on Monday, March 6, 2017, in Charleston, S.C.
 
The Seahawks are scheduled to appear five times on the American Sports Network, including a home dates with Drexel (Jan. 21) and road matchups at St. Bonaventure (Dec. 10), Charleston (Feb. 20), Elon (Feb. 11) and Hofstra (Feb. 18). ASN will televise 16 men's and women's contests on affiliate stations throughout the nation. ASN is an initiative of the Sinclair Networks Group, which owns, operates, programs and provides sales services to 164 television stations in 79 markets, reaching approximately 43 million U.S. television households. ASN plans to air more than 375 events in the 2016-17 academic year.
 
The Nov. 30, 2016, matchup with Western Michigan in Kalamazoo, Mich., will be carried on ESPN3 and the Jan. 28, 2017, clash between the Seahawks and William & Mary will be shown on Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic.
